Several of My Family Members Proudly Served in the Military. My Grand Father Served, My Father & Uncles Served in the Navy During WWII, My Brother and Cousins Served in The Marines, My Sister Served in the Army Reserves & Active Army, My Husband Retired as a Veteran After Serving in the Navy/Army NG/Army, A Total of 32+ Years. 16 Years in the Navy as a Corpsman and 16+ Years as a Army Medic. All of Which Once Retired Honorably Earning Numerous Medals Amongst Themselves Although They Served Proudly For Our Country Not For The Glory or Admiration But, For the Honor of Serving Our Country and to Honor The Constition and What it Stands For. My One and Only Son is Now Serving in the Air force Reserve Active Duty.

I Believe As A Wife, Daughter, Sister, and Mother of A Veteran, All Veterans Should Be Able To Have the Opportunity to Enjoy the Outdoors and Recreations Available to Them for Their Service to Our Country and Time Served in the Military.

Becouse iam a Disabled Veteran with thirty two years of service, and they are all my brothers!

Also being outdoors and getting fresh air is healing, and the best medicine there is!

Otherwise most veterans are shut in’s and just stagnate. They need somthing to look forward to.

Harry Northup – What would be more appropriate than to allow wounded veterans a chance to enjoy some of what they were fighting for? I just wish there was MORE that could be done for them!

Veterans are our hero’s. My dad, who passed away almost 11 years ago and my father-in-law, who passed about 20 years ago, both fought in WW11 were our hero’s. My dad was so patriotic and served in the VFW volunteering for many years. He would be heart-broken with what is happening in our country today.

I think it is a shame that our veterans are not treated with more reverence.
