Fire service organization adds to growing list of endorsements for Putnam
Bartow, Fla. – The Florida Professional Firefighters, Inc. (FPF) has officially endorsed Adam Putnam for Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture. FPF is a not-for-profit state association that represents more than 22,000 firefighters and EMS personnel statewide.
“The 500 Delegates attending the Florida Professional Firefighters’ annual convention unanimously endorse Adam Putnam for Commissioner of Agriculture 2010. The FPF is honored to have worked with Adam during his years of service in the State Legislature and U.S. Congress, and we look forward to continuing our good working relationship in the future,” said Bob Carver, FPF President and CEO.Founded in 1944, FPF works to provide a strong relationship between the state government and Florida’s firefighters and EMS personnel. The organization advocates for the protection of rights and privileges of all state firefighters and EMS professionals as they strive to protect Floridians from coast to coast. FPF includes more than 500 forestry firefighters in the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Adam Putnam is a Polk County citrus grower and cattleman who has represented the Twelfth Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since January 2001. He also served as a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 1996 to 2000. Adam resides in his hometown of Bartow with his wife Melissa and their four children.
