As our family prepares to celebrate Memorial Day weekend with family and friends, I wanted to post a note to wish each of you and your families a safe and wonderful holiday.
This Monday, we honor those men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice while serving the United States of America– these individuals gave their all in service to this country for the life and liberty we share as Americans. It is a time to show gratitude and be thankful for our continued health, happiness and security, and celebrate the many privileges with which we’ve been blessed as citizens of this great country.
As we enjoy this time together, please take a moment to reflect upon the servicemen and women who continue to make the kinds of sacrifices that ensure our safety and freedom. It is because of their selfless service that we enjoy the independence we share.
To all those who have served, and continue to serve, in the United States Armed Forces, we offer our deepest gratitude and respect. Thank you for your service.
